A trio exhibition gently scooping up the tremors of emotion lurking within stillness.
Yuki Kosaka, Norizo, Moa Enomoto—three distinct gazes intersect, and a soft silence spreads throughout the space. Alongside a soundless dialogue, time flows as if quietly speaking to each viewer’s heart, offering comfort.

Born in Saitama Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2010 with a major in Painting.

Influenced by shōjo manga, I’ve drawn girls since childhood. Studying painting sparked my interest in the fascinating way space emerges on a flat surface. Moving beyond paintings of only girls, I began to notice the sense of distance and setting between them. I explore pleasant colors, compositions, and distances while sensing an air of floating sensation.

Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1977
Graduated from Tokyo Designer Academy, Illustration Department in 1997
Graduated from Kodansha Famous School in 2007

I am interested in the culture and design of the early 1900s, observing the ideas and forms that people at that time directed toward the “future.” Those shapes, once symbols of novelty, have completed their role amid the passage of time and are now no longer produced.

I contemplate the ideas residing within these old objects and the changes they undergo. Forms that weather over time and merge with nature. I attempt to depict the aura that emerges during this process from a contemporary perspective.

At the heart of the creation lies the singularity of forms that are fading away. The same thought never gives birth to the same form again. Drawn to this irreversibility and rarity, fragments of culture and history buried in layers of time are gathered.

The child’s image appearing on the canvas exists as a mediator connecting past and present, creating a viewpoint that quietly resonates with the viewer’s own memories. Crossing between digital and oil painting, I aim to present “nostalgia” not merely as recollection, but as a sensation that can only arise in this very moment.

By fixing the aura emitted by vanishing forms, I continue creating work that visualizes the irreplaceable nature of their existence.

Through different materials and techniques—fabric, wood, canvas—emerges the form of an existence that constantly wavers and transforms.
Each work quietly visualizes a sensation that exists just before completion or definition.

Using the traditional dyeing technique of cylinder-dyeing, these works create a three-dimensional effect and unique texture by stuffing cotton into vividly dyed fabric and stitching the outline with a sewing machine.

【Work Introduction】
The Mushroom Bird series fuses the warmth of camphor wood with the texture of mineral pigments to create fantastical forms. The design, overlaying bird motifs onto mushroom caps, symbolizes the ambiguity of evolution and the metamorphosis of living things, combining fairy-tale playfulness with philosophical depth. Employing the “single-block carving” technique from the late Nara to early Heian periods, each Mushroom Bird captures a unique personality. The use of different woods gives each piece its own distinct texture and aroma.
