Eyes gazing at someone. Eyes gazing into the distance.
The “gaze” residing in each work drifts along the boundary between reality and dreams, loneliness and hope.

Born in Mie Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Art, Printmaking Department.

I depict the emotional shifts arising from daily events, as well as the uncertainty surrounding my own existence and place within society and the environment. I explore this instability found within everyday life.

Even when the subject matter is negative, I create with the hope that transforming it into painting might offer some solace or hope, believing that things will surely be okay in the end.

【Statement】
The characters I paint are born from my longing for and melancholy toward my ideals. I aim to create works that embrace the darkness existing between ideal and reality.
Through painting, I reveal the gap between ideal and reality, and from that coldness, I create a sense of reassurance.
