DESIGNART is a new word that redefines the things that touch us and bring emotion to our everyday lives through function and beauty. It is also the name of the movement to spread and share this amazing concept.
‘DESIGNART 2017’ is an innovative design and art festival that will take place over seven days from October 16th (Mon) to the 22nd (Sun).
Over 70 exhibitions in design, art, fashion, food, technology, and more will gather in Tokyo, one of the world’s premier cities of mixed-culture, under the concept of “bringing emotion into our daily lives”. During the festival, art and design will come together as DESIGNART. Creators from around the world from a diverse array of disciplines will come together to share and learn from each other irrespective of where they are from or what they are specialized in. We hope that visitors will not only walk around and see the many exhibitions but also have a chance encounter with one or more of the many creators.
In addition to the exhibition work, we are also “exhibiting” the amazing architecture in the area as DESIGNART. Enjoy your walk around Tokyo more than ever before with the inserted map or audio guide which give descriptions of both the exhibitions and the architecture.
