From July 12, 2025, KINOSHO KIKAKU will hold a group exhibition titled “Flickering Contours” featuring four artists: Yuki Kosaka, Miku Ema, Mugi Hamada, and Kaito Takasago.

The four artists depict works that, at first glance, appear delicate and soft, yet contain a sense of strangeness and unease. These works attempt to capture the shapes of uncertain and ambiguous things such as memories, landscapes, and time.
The unique worldviews of each artist intersect to weave a new story in this exhibition. We hope you will take this opportunity to view the exhibition.

Stories, atmospheres, concepts, and the passage of time. I create dolls that embody these elements in a form that anyone can see. Dolls made for one person in the world. I pursue the relationship between people and dolls through various forms of expression, hoping that an irreplaceable bond will be formed between that person and the doll.
The goal is a form that naturally blends into reality. It ages and decays as it is, not growing but weathering. Wouldn’t it be reassuring to have a doll with a finite lifespan by your side?
A presence to spend time with until the day it is no longer needed. That relationship is formed by the doll and by you. (Ema Miku)

Creates works based on the theme of a fictional girl who is a witch and the people and environment around her. While reflecting my own casual experiences in the motifs of a fictional world, I pursue painting as a material and explore new ways of existing for the characters I create.
