Gekoru
Gekoru uses analog art, digital art, video, installations, and other techniques to create a space of expression that engulfs both the real and virtual worlds. His paintings are characterized by abstract expressions in which “cats” and space seem to merge with each other, expressing a world without boundaries between people, time, and space from his unique sensibility.
His creative motifs range from everyday scenes and experiences to classical and contemporary art and Internet culture.

Sumisha
I paint children with big eyes in acrylic paint. In this exhibition, I painted about my favorite things that occur to me in my daily life.

I create a sad but warm little story for each work, depicting life and death, memory and existence.
I record them to protect their memories that they must have lived somewhere.
A fantastical, happily-ever-after, dead-end world.

Takeshi Yamao
Born in Nara Prefecture. At the age of 14, he was a social recluse, and he wanted to become a manga artist or illustrator, but at the age of 17, he discovered the world of art through the works of Yoshitomo Nara and Takashi Murakami. He started his career as an artist at overseas art fairs in 2008.
